Petrine Fardette, PA-C
As the owner of Face It Aesthetics, I am passionate about helping patients improve their look and confidence, and excited to share my knowledge with you. I am a Certified Physician Assistant Injector with over 24 years of experience, currently specializing in facial sculpting with fillers and neuromodulators. My work demands equal parts artistry and skill, along with excellent knowledge of facial anatomy and an eye for facial aesthetics, because every patient is unique.
In addition to my surgical experience in plastic surgery, spine surgery, operating rooms and critical care units, I have been trained on advanced aesthetic treatments by plastic surgeons and dermatology experts. I’m certified in advanced fillers, laser techniques and skin tightening, and attend industry workshops and continuing education to stay current on new products, services, and techniques.
Before founding Face It Aesthetics, I was director of the Perioperative Risk Management Program at Cantor Spine Institute. I am a member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA). I graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in 1997.
When I’m not at work, I’m living the mermaid life, boating and spending time with my husband and two young sons.
Alan Durkin, M.D.
We are fortunate to benefit from the knowledge and expert guidance of our medical director, Dr. Alan Durkin. Dr. Durkin is a board-certified plastic surgeon and owner of Ocean Drive Plastic Surgery, a private, beachside surgery center and med spa. He is a nationally recognized thought leader in cosmetic plastic surgery and aesthetic medicine for facial rejuvenation and revisional breast augmentations. His skin-based collagen-induction therapies, fat grafting, and injection techniques give natural, lasting results.
Dr. Durkin is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and American Board of Surgery and is on staff at Cleveland Clinic. He has been named one of America’s top Doctors by Castle Connolly. Dr. Durkin is also a New Beauty Magazine advisor and Expert Injector. Dr. Durkin has appeared in New Beauty Magazine, Cosmopolitan, HauteMD, and Vice Sports Magazine. He has also been featured by Martha Stewart Living, Good Housekeeping, The New York Times, and the Wall Street Journal.
Dr. Durkin is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Maxillofacial Plastic Surgeons.
Tammy Kornowski, MA
As the office administrator at Face It Aesthetics, Tammy rounds out our team of medical professionals. Her experience and caring approach make her indispensable, keeping our busy med spa organized and welcoming patients for treatments. Tammy earned her medical assistant degree in 1996 and has worked in the health and wellness space for more than 20 years. She also owned her own women’s fitness center for seven years, and remains committed to a healthy, active lifestyle. When she’s not at work or working out, Tammy enjoys boating, reading, traveling and spending time with her husband and three kids, who inspire her daily.
The story behind the name
Face It Aesthetics is my dream. It is what I have worked towards my entire career as a Physician Assistant. It is also my mantra, my way of getting through life’s obstacles and times of loneliness. It was never easy to find the strength and the hope I needed to get up off my knees, lift my chin and face it.
But I continued to have faith, asking for guidance while facing the sun, the moon and everything in between. So as I open the door to Face It Aesthetics every morning, I am beyond grateful for my blessings. When you visit, I want you to feel the same sense of hope and confidence, and discover the spark you need to rejuvenate, refresh, and restore.
What to expect on your visit
When you come in for your initial appointment, you will be greeted and brought back to the treatment room. During your complimentary consultation—which I perform personally for each patient—you can discuss what you would like to enhance, rejuvenate and restore. Based on your goals, and my extensive expertise in injectable services, we’ll develop an individualized treatment plan. I value and appreciate the trust each
patient places in me, and provide an honest consult with realistic expectations for potential results. Your consultation will be unhurried, without any purchase pressure.
If you decide to move forward, same-day treatments are usually an option. Face It Aesthetics is a very private and personal space, so there is no time when your treatment will be rushed. Our focus is safety and quality, as well as creating a calm and positive experience.
